The Department for Transport has announced today that the A63 Garrison Road in Hull will be one of the schemes to benefit from new funding for improving congested junctions.
The £6.3m scheme will save more than half a million hours of delays in the first year alone.
Lord Haskins, Chair of the Humber Local Enterprise Partnership (LEP) said:
“We welcome the improvement which will relieve congestion and enable future growth – something we have been lobbying for with Hull City Council and Hull MPs. It is important that this progresses quickly alongside the A63 Castle Street scheme.”
