A further £13.98m of European Structural and Investment Funds (ESIF) is now available for organisations to access from the Humber’s ESIF Programme. The additional funding includes a further £11m of investment resulting from the revaluation of the foreign exchange rate used to convert the Humber’s ESIF allocation from Euros.
A further £5.5m is also being made available in the East Riding Transition area by York, North Yorkshire and East Riding Local Enterprise Partnership, taking the total investment available in the Humber to £19.5m.
Organisations are invited to apply for ESIF funding by responding to Calls for Projects across a number of the European Regional Development Fund (ERDF) priorities. The detailed call documents are available at the following links:
- PA1 – Research & Innovation
- PA3 – SME Workspace
- PA4 – Low Carbon
- PA5 – Climate Change Mitigation / Flood Alleviation
- PA6 – Environment – Green and Blue Infrastructure
The deadline for applications is 23 November 2018.
A further ESF call for the delivery of a project which supports Small and Medium Sized Enterprises to provide additional Higher and Further Education student and graduate placements, internships and graduate level employment opportunities is also live here.
The deadline for applications for this call is 28 November 2018.
Calls for additional ESF funded projects are also anticipated in the forthcoming weeks.
Humber ESIF Committee Chair Isobel Mills said:
“The change in the exchange rate has meant that the Humber now has additional resources to enable us to support the continued delivery of the Humber’s ESIF Strategy. It will allow us to invest in a range of areas including supporting innovation and research and development, developing new workspace targeted at Small and Medium sized businesses, reducing flood risk and helping the Humber move towards a low carbon economy.
We look forward to receiving some high quality applications which will make a real impact in the Humber.”
The Technical Assistance Partnership (TAP) will be holding a Call Launch Event to provide potential project partners with an overview of the call specification as well as what is involved in applying for ESIF funding.
