The Humber Local Enterprise Partnership (LEP) and Hull 20:20 have teamed up to launch a new leadership programme for senior leaders in the Humber region.

Delivered by Common Purpose, the programme is an intensive short course for senior leaders who want to understand the Humber area, where they live and work.

After a successful pilot in Hull last year, a Humber-wide programme will run in the autumn and is now open for private sector applicants.
Specifically catered for people in established leadership roles and decision-makers, the programme is designed to give guidance or an update on important issues, people and institutions that make up the Humber region.

Participants will gain a valuable overview of the area and make connections across sectors to help them work together more effectively.

The pre evening on 7th September 2017 will set the scene for what to expect across the course, in which participants will learn to:

– Adapt fast in new places

– Challenge preconceptions about the place where you live or work

– See things from an angle you may not have appreciated

– Make connections with stakeholders across sectors you may not have previously considered

The programme will take participants behind the scenes of businesses and public sector organisations in the Humber so they can fully understand different aspects of the area. They will get a chance to meet decision-makers to discuss the issues and current context in which they operate.
