The Humber Renewables team, set up by the Humber LEP, enjoyed a successful first day at the Renewable UK exhibition at the ACC in Liverpool.
As well as representation from the Humber LEP, local authorities and Team Humber Marine Alliance, the following commercial companies are on stand 105 from 6-8 of October with us: ABP (Associated British Ports), Danbrit Shipping, HETA (Humberside Engineering Training Association), HFR Solutions/HOTA (Humberside Offshore Training Association), Hughes Sub Surface Engineering, Good Travel Management Limited, REDS (Reach Engineering & Diving Services), Survitec Group and Tata Steel.
The 37th Renewable UK annual conference and exhibition will be attended by over 2,000 delegates, 100 expert speakers and Humber Renewables is one of 100 exhibitors.
Renewable UK today released its Wind Energy in the UK report which names our region and, in particular Grimsby, as an area that is benefiting from England’s push forward with offshore wind.
Humber Renewables team’s attendance at the event is part of a three-year programme of exhibitions at which they have made key contacts and driven up the number of investment inquiries for the Humber region the UK’s Energy Estuary.
A small stand has been booked for the EWEA (the European Wind Energy association) Paris on 17-20 November 2015 which was booked after a successful visit to last year’s event in Copenhagen. Humber companies are invited to use the stand at EWEA Paris as a base for meetings or to use as a hub during the exhibition.
