Jake Berry, Minister for Northern Powerhouse and Local Growth (fourth from right) meets with Humber LEP Board and representatives from the four Humber local authorities at C4Di, Hull.

The Humber Local Enterprise Partnership (LEP) hosted Minister for the Northern Powerhouse and Local Growth, Jake Berry at the Centre for Digital Innovation (C4Di), Hull this morning.

Lord Haskins, Chair of Humber LEP along with members of the LEP Board, sub boards and our four local authorities were present to discuss the Humber’s pledge to contribute to the government’s Industrial Strategy amongst other important issues for the region.

Lord Haskins said:

“It was a pleasure to welcome the Minister for the Northern Powerhouse and Local Growth to our region.

“It is important that we continue to work together to gain the best possible outcome for the Humber economy moving forward, therefore these meetings are of vital significance when putting forward our case to Government.”
