The Humber Local Enterprise Partnership (LEP) would like to congratulate all those involved in the organisation and delivery of another successful Humber Business Week.
Over the course of the week the Humber region’s business community enjoyed a range of events aimed at all levels of business and enterprise, allowing entrepreneurs, educators and professionals the chance to share knowledge and expertise with one another and celebrate the region’s business strengths.
The Humber LEP’s own Humber Business Growth Hub ‘Growth Hub Live’ events were successful in providing business support and engagement for SMEs in the Humber region, as well as opportunities for organisations providing that support to build their relationships.
The speaker sessions at ‘Growth Hub Live’ held at the University of Hull and Forest Pines provided SMEs with the chance to learn about funding available to our region and support for growth, as well as how to market your business and cyber security, plus much more.
The Humber LEP and the Humber Business Growth Hub would like to thank all who attended the ‘Growth Hub Live’ events.
Furthermore, as a main sponsor of The Business Day at The Spa, Bridlington, the Humber LEP would like to congratulate all sponsors and organisers of the event, East Riding of Yorkshire Council, for a successful day, filled with a great line-up of workshops, stands and speakers.
The finale of Humber Business Week culminated a week of insightful and engaging events that showcased the Humber’s business community.
The LEP’s stand in the Spa’s Royal Hall showcased some of the projects it has supported to date, including new training facilities at Goole College and MODAL, infrastructure projects and businesses that have benefitted from the Growing the Humber programme.
Next year’s Humber Business Week has already been set for 4-8 June 2018. We look forward to supporting the week to continue to go from strength to strength.
