“The Humber’s European Structural and Investment Fund (ESIF) allocation allows for innovation within our priority sectors. These calls for projects come at a time when we must provide as much assistance as possible for SMEs and larger businesses within our region – so naturally, we at the Humber ESIF Committee and the Humber LEP are all excited.
“The significant funding represents opportunity in this part of the country, and we are looking to involve providers who can engage with local businesses. The £16.56m allocation focuses on different areas of low carbon innovation and SME support, which will benefit not just those directly involved in the funding but the Humber and wider region as a whole.
“The relationship with our neighbouring Local Enterprise Partnerships is extremely positive, and we are dedicated to driving economic growth in each of our regions.”
