The Justice Group meet quarterly and feed into the Employment and Skills Board.
The group is formed of Public and private sector, to look at improving the business/prison partnerships and to build on work that Novus have delivered to date in up-skilling the prison community to reduce reoffending.
The LEP understands the need in supporting the talent pool that resides on a temporary basis with the prison community to enter the workforce on release.
This is an opportunity to build relationships between learning delivery that takes place in prisons across the Humber, the subsequent release of prisoners, local employment and training and the network of skills delivery organisations.
The Justice Group is chaired by and has 13 members.
