Businesses wishing to apply for a Growing the Humber Local Growth Fund grant must first complete an online Expression of Interest form (link below).
(Please note that we are currently using an old version of the form – an updated form will go live shortly)
You will be able to save and return to drafts of the online form but once submitted you will not be able to change it. If you have difficulty accessing the online form, please email email@example.com
Applicants are strongly advised to read the detailed programme guidance before completing the form to ensure that they are eligible and stand the best possible chance of success.
How will my application be assessed?
The application has a two stage process. The expression of interest aims to check eligibility and will be assessed by staff from the Humber LEP and the Accountable Body for the programme (North East Lincolnshire Council).
If the proposed project seems to be eligible, the applicant will be invited to complete a full application form. In most instances these applications will be assessed by our Investment Panel of local business people that meets once a month. Applications for small grant values will be assessed by representatives of the programme delivery team under delegated authority to reduce the amount of time taken from application to decision.
Priority will be given to projects that demonstrate best value for money in terms of proportion of private sector investment, number of jobs created, fit with one or more of the Humber LEP’s key objectives and clear funding gap. Selected projects will be subject to a due diligence process.
