Organisations are invited to apply for funding from European Structural and Investment Funds (ESIF) by responding to a number of Calls for projects that will provide support to businesses across the Humber.
There are two calls for projects that have been launched by the Department for Communities and Local Government that can benefit from funding from the European Regional Development Fund (ERDF). The Calls for projects are now open until 13 May for the following activities:
- PA2 ICT Call – Seeking a programme of activity to encourage and enable SMEs to use digital technologies more effectively within their businesses
- PA3 SME Competitiveness Call – Seeking a comprehensive package of investment readiness support to SMEs to enable them to take full advantage of the growth opportunities provided by the right package of finance

Humber ESIF Committee Chair Isobel Mills said:
“This is an excellent opportunity for organisations to bring forward projects that will make a real impact in the Humber. We are looking for innovative and ambitious programmes that will address the issues identified within the calls and support us to drive economic growth in the Humber.
The Humber is making substantial process in delivering its ESIF Strategy and we look forward to seeing proposals that will add value to the programmes that are already providing valuable support to businesses in the area.”
Support is available for organisations interested in responding to one or more of the calls. The Technical Assistance Partnership (TAP) can be contacted at firstname.lastname@example.org or 01482 391683. It is strongly recommended that all potential applicants seek support from the TAP.
