Phil Glover, Business Development Manager for the Humber Local Enterprise Partnership (LEP) has become the first in the UK Local Enterprise Partnership network to pass the Certification in Quantitative Risk Management (CQRM).
CQRM is internationally recognised by the IIPER awarding body and provides the expertise to quantify and manage complex risk scenarios.
The course was delivered in person by Jonathan Munn, a world leader in risk quantification as part of the first UK hosting of the European Risk Convention held in Hull. The CQRM accreditation course was attended by over 50 delegates from all different business sectors across 21 different countries.
Phil Glover commented:
“Johnathan has a very impressive client list including governments around the world and some of the largest companies on the planet. It was a real privilege to be taught by the top expert in his field.
“The knowledge gained will help me to raise the importance among our local businesses of managing risk effectively to avoid operational pitfalls and importantly, have the confidence and systems in place to seize commercial opportunities when they arise.”
