Chief Executive at the Humber Learning Consortium

Andy Crossland is Chief Executive of Humber Learning Consortium (HLC), an educational charity based in Hull. He has worked in the learning & skills sector for over 20 years in a variety of senior management roles. In his 14 years with HLC, Andy has helped to grow the organisation into a mainstream learning provider with over 7000 learners per annum.

Andy is currently a member of the Humber LEP Employment & Skills Board, ESIF local sub-committee, Chair of the LEP Employability Skills Working Group, and a Director/Chair of Hessle High School and Sixth Form
Over the years he has worked in partnership with a wide variety of agencies at a strategic level, including the Skills Funding Agency, DWP, Big Lottery Fund, FE colleges, and local authorities. Andy is MBA qualified and outside of work pursues interests in music, football, and travel
