Skills Centre PLUS and partners deliver during National Apprenticeship Week
Year 10 and 11 Students experienced a taste of Electrical Engineering activities at HETA in Scunthorpe and Stoneacre Motor Group Apprenticeship Academy visited TSLA to talk to Year 11 Students about Apprenticeship opportunities across the Motor group.
The students really enjoyed the practical activities at HETA and gained a valuable insight into the career pathways in the Engineering sector. Lucy Jessop (Educational Links) said “It was great to have students for TSLA with us today and showing such an interest in Engineering”.
Stoneacre, one of the largest independent automotive retailers in the UK take on over 100 apprenticeships a year across a range of areas, including business management, retail, customer service, logistics, distribution to name a few. “The visit was a brilliant opportunity for the students to find out about the range of apprenticeships on offer.” said Skills Centre PLUS Director Nigel Longstaff.

We are delighted to be working with Skills Centre PLUS and their dedicated team of staff. We aim to build on their excellent work with local schools by offering a diverse range of career pathways through our Academy.”
