Purpose / Scope of the Humber Skills Network
Chair – Danny Brett
Chair June 2020
We are delighted to advise that Danny Brett, Assistant Principal from Bishop Burton College will continue in the role of Chair of the Skills Network
The Humber LEP Skills Network brings together key agencies, stakeholders and delivery partners that will provide leadership to the employment and skills agenda in the Humber. The Network will be used to cascade information about the skills plan, consult on its contents and involve providers in its delivery.
The Network provides a forum for agencies involved in all aspects of employment, skills and education in the Humber to meet to share information and good practice. It also influences employment and skills provision in line with economic priorities.
It takes a strategic approach to careers advice and IAG and influences partners in order to ensure that the system delivers what the Humber’s economy needs. As well as ensuring that LMI is produced and disseminated.

Meetings of the Humber LEP Skills Network will take place on a quarterly basis. A regular newsletter is also sent to the Network with key information on events, funding opportunities and news from the sector.
