The Humber LEP met with Iceland’s UK ambassador on their recent visit to Grimsby, the purpose of the visit was to exchange views and concerns about trade after Brexit.
Stefán Haukur Jóhannesson, Iceland’s UK ambassador, travelled to the Humber for a two-day visit alongside Deputy Head of Mission Ingólfur Friðriksson last week. The pair met with Kishor Tailor, Chief Executive of the Humber LEP, as part of their trip.

The project delivers an integrated programme of highways and public realm improvement works in the Cartergate/St James Square area of Grimsby Town Centre. This extends the £6m Local Sustainable Transport Fund scheme that supported sustainable travel modes in the Riverhead Square/Station Approach part of the town.
The project unlocks a major, mixed use development project that will address market failure in the provision of Grade A office accommodation and supports the retention and expansion of a major professional services firm.
