About the project
With demand for increased capacity, the project will support an extension to the existing factory. New machinery has been purchased and a reorganisation of the site has taken place to maximise the efficiency of capacity. Production and distribution have now been combined under one roof and the factory is working towards a 50% increase in paint manufacturing capacity in 2016. The project is core to a wider three year development phase to transform the site, with the company already investing in a large scale overhaul of the factory structure and creating new laboratories and modernised office space.
As a direct result of this investment five jobs have been created, including additions to the sales and technical teams.
Geoff Mackrill, Managing Director of Teal and Mackrill Limited said, “This project lays the foundation of the development of Teal and Mackrill as a specialist paint manufacturer. We’re proud to be exporting to 15 countries internationally and hope to continue to invest in our local workforce”.
